Why Our Customers Love
Our Products

Going to Norwood Chiropractic has done wonders for me. If I didn't go see Dr. Brodeur or Dr. Yost 2 days a week, my professional career would be over. Two years ago I tore both of my hamstrings. I didn't really know what to do about it so someone recommended me to Dr. Brodeur. Since Dr. Brodeur has been doing ART (Active Release Techniques), I have only had minor problems with my hamstrings. As long as I address the situation in time before it's too late Dr. Brodeur is able to get my hamstrings back in action. I also have plantar fascitis in my feet. I would wake up in the morning and not be able to walk. When I told Dr. Brodeur and Dr.Yost , they addressed the situation. As long as I keep getting therapy I will be able to live out my dreams on the track. This summer they were a big part of my success in Beijing China where I received a silver medal in the Heptathlon.

Chronic Tendonitis

For over two months, I struggled to run with chronic tendonitis in my foot. I saw 2 orthopedic doctors, went through 2 different physical therapy programs, wore a cast for 3 weeks, and even stopped all aerobic exercise for 7 weeks. Nothing helped. Then I remembered reading about ART. I found an ART provider - Dr. Sophie Brodeur, and went for my first visit. After one session, I was running with much less pain, and through the course of 4 treatments (and daily stretching and exercises on my own), I was running up to 50 minutes, pain free!
Thanks, Sophie!

Chronic ITBS
5/30/2006 9:48:32 AM

I came in to see Dr. Brodeur because I had chronic ITBS. I had been having IT Band pain on and off since last August. It got so bad that I couldn't even run for 5 minutes. I had gone to 2 different sports medicine doctors, gotten a cortisone shot, and gone to a physical therapist for a month. Nothing helped. Then I discovered ART on the internet, and called to make an appointment with Dr. Brodeur. During my first appointment, I knew she would be able to help me. Since she's a runner herself, she could relate to the pain and frustration I was having. She performed her magical ART on my IT Band, and the pain began to gradually diminish. After just 2 weeks, I was at least able to run 15 - 20 minutes pain free! Since my pain was chronic, it took a while for it to totally go away. But I have been running pain-free (in my IT Band) for the past 2 weeks! It is SO EXCITING to be able to run again!!! I can't thank Dr. Brodeur enough! It just feels SO GOOD to be able to RUN again! Thank you SO MUCH.
Sincerely,

Coach, Team Diabetes

Dr. Brodeur, I would like to thank you on behalf of Team Diabetes for all the support you provided this year. The clinic you conducted for our group on how to prevent common running injuries was extremely helpful for both the new runners and experienced marathoners. And everyone loved the stretch bands and ice packs! For those with the unfortunate luck of experiencing a running injury, you were an even greater help. Our runners had a fantastic experience with you - you diagnosed their issue and helped them get past it. But you were also empathetic to the stress of being injured while training for a marathon (especially close to your FIRST marathon!) and all of them came away from their treatments much better both physically and mentally. On a personal note, I could not have achieved my goal this spring without all of my treatments, so thank you.
